Harsco Track Technologies (HTT) is a major international supplier of railway track maintenance equipment and services for private and government-owned railways worldwide. It is a division of Harsco Corporation, a diversified, global provider of market-leading industrial services and engineered products with annual sales in excess of $2.1 billion.
HTT required an online ordering facility that integrated with their stock management system. This was designed to enable engineers when trackside to place an order for parts and specify the delivery requirements.
Further to developing the online ordering system UKWebCo.com was chosen to create a document management system which enables staff to have instant access to the latest documentation relevant to their user profile.
Recently UKWebCo.com was selected to redevelop the HTT supplier management system to a fully online service. The system has been developed in line with HTT’s ISO9001:2000 Quality Management System. This enables HTT to track supplier performance, and register and report on non-conformance issues.
